We recently spent a few days on the beach.  While we are avid seaglass hunters, we also look for other treasures.  On this hunt we found:

  • a gaff
  • a disposable lighter that did not work
  • a pen that worked
  • a stool too heavy to carry back
  • an old “ink” eraser
  • pink and yellow party balloons

But my best finds were rocks painted by mother nature. This one I call the whale with the button nose.

Have you ever poked your fingers in wet cement?

There is a kennel on PEI called Paws on the Beach.  That was the first thing that came to mind when I saw this rock.

This one looks like the markers you see on Google Maps.

Finally, this 3-D looking whale although my wife says it is the face of a monkey.  You decide.

What treasures have you found on the beach?

What natural artistry have you observed?
