Yesterday, we decided not to take the Tobermory ferry. I am glad of our choice. It allowed us to visit more lovely spots in central Ontario.
Wasaga beach, at 14km is the longest freshwater beach in the world. The sand is very fine and well packed. We took this opportunity to have a good walk on the beach
It was starting to cloud over, and nary a soul around. Judging from the size of the several parking lots, this place must be hopping in the summer.
We also drove through Tiny Ontario. No, Ontario is not tiny; it has a municipality and township called Tiny. This is great cottage country with many wonderful vistas.
Then we went to Midland. You may have heard that Athens Ontario is the town of murals. Well so is Midland. We drove through street after street to find yet a nicer one.
Then we went around the point to make our way to Sudbury by sundown in the rain. We also crossed the 6000 km mark.
Cindy and her camera. Take much better pictures. See her pictorial summary of the last 2 days at http://2fromaway.ca
Tomorrow, the big nickel.

I like how I capture things you haven’t and you capture what I didn’t. I forgot all about Tiny, must have been in my mind tiny also, great post.
