Kilns in PEI

If you like making pottery you can do so in Prince Edward Island.  This can be a good alternative to spending a rainy day at the mall.  Not only is pottery a form of self expression, it has practical uses.  Will your PEI souvenir be a dust collector or will it be a cherished item you will display (like a flower pot) or use (like a plate) every day?

Right off the Batt Pottery offers Play in Clay. They specialize in making clay fun by using stencils and inlays to make elegant designs. You can spend a few hours preparing your custom piece.  Residents or frequent visitors can return several weeks later to pick up their piece or have it shipped for an additional charge.  So if you want to express yourself, be a potter for a day.

If you like to buy Pottery, you can do so at other fine shops as well.  Here is a small sampling

The Dunes Studio Gallery and Cafe

Stanley Pottery and Weaving

New London Village Pottery

Hawkins Pottery Studio

Thanks for featuring our pottery shop, Village Pottery. We are happy to have PEI’s largest selection of island pottery!
